I was on Gerweck.net earlier, reading the latest news and whatnot and found this snippit of news about the Divas Battle Royal;

25-Diva Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal
Participants include: Melina, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Santino Marella, Michelle McCool, Tammy Lynn Sytch, Victoria, Mae Young and Gail Kim

Hopefully it's just one of these 'line-up scheduled to change' things, because if not I will be one very ANRY Royal. Santino Marella? REALLY? I love Mae Young but I think it would be awful if she was to be apart of this match, I mean the poor dear is pushing 90! 'Mania is only a day away, so hopefully things will become more clear tomorow. Only three short days ago I made a post [click to read] about WrestleMania 25 being the return of one of my all time favourites; Nidia Guenard. and today PWPix.net and many other wrestling websites are announcing that Nidia is infact in Houston and is expected to participate in ths Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal!

Former WWE Diva Nidia Guenard is currently in Houston, Texas and expected to participate in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV.

Nidia last appeared in a WWE ring over four years ago, having been released from her contract on November 3, 2004 alongside several other performers in a talent purge.

Following her release from WWE, Nidia wrestled in many independent promotions and tours including Kishi's Nu-Wrestling Evolution in Italy and Último Dragón's Toryumon Mexico.

Shortly thereafter, Nidia decided to retire for the foreseeable future.

It's been too long since I've saw Nidia wrestle, so let's hope and pray it's true and we see Nidia kick some ass again!

Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Molly Holly, Miss Jackie and Sunny have been confirmed by Eve and Kelly Kelly for the Divas Battle Royal at WrestleMania 25! This means that there are two final places left in the battle royal! One will blatently be Trish Stratus and lets hope the other suprise one will be Lita or Luna Vachon!; but knowing WWE as of late, Santino Marella will be taking up the final place. BOO HISS BOO!

Nidia broke into the wrestling business after competing and going on to win the first ever WWF Tough Enough competition back in 2001. Her along with her co-winner Maven, made a few appearances on SmackDown! before being assigned to OVW to begin their training.

After fueding with vicious vixxen Victoria in OVW, Nidia was called back up to the main SmackDown! roster, where she became Jamie Noble's girlfriend and the stalker of The Hurricane. King Of The Ring 2002 saw Nidia lead Jamie Noble to his first Cruiserwieight Championship! During the course of her time as a heel on SmackDown!, we saw Nidia face off with Torrie Wilson many times in singles matches and various intergender tag matches.

As she grew more and more popular, WWE threw her into a huge storyline. Tajiri spat black mist into Nidia's face, "blinding" her. Whilst Nidia couldn't see, Jamie Noble would throw her into opponents and inject her into his matches to aid him cheap victories. As the story grew and grew, Nidia finally turned on Noble, leading to a match at No Way Out 2004; a blindfold match! As Nidia was about to win, Noble lifted up his blindfold and cheated. He locked Nidia in a submission hold, making her tap out.

In the 2004 WWE Draft, Nidia was drafted over to RAW where she defeated Molly Holly in her debut RAW match. Nidia had a short career on RAW and was mostly found on HEAT, facing Jazz, Gail Kim or teaming with Victoria to take on different mixed tag teams. On November 3 in 2004, Nidia along with many other Superstars and Divas, was released from her WWE contract. This came as a huge shock to me and Nidia fans alike.

After being released, Nidia went on to wrestle at various independant promotions before giving birth to her daughter, Lilith Fae Dal Bosco, in April 2007.

Now, I was and still am a major Nidia mark. She is one of my all time favourites and it would be awesome to have her get back into the ring at WrestleMania 25. But I somehow doubt she will. What do you think? Let us know in the cbox!

As you can see from the picture above the confirmed WWE Divas for the battle royal are;

Jillian, Alicia, The Bella Twins, GAIL KIM, Tiffany, Mickie, Rosa, Candice, Natalya, Eve, Layla Katie Lea, Kelly, Maria, Melina, Michelle, Beth & Maryse

So that leaves room for six former Divas, but rumour has it Torrie Wilson and the biggest fattest has-been Sunny will be there. BLAH, let's wait and see! I'm still rooting for Luna!

As the rumours continue to fly around the net about which former WWE Divas will be apart of the WM25 Battle Royal, Ashley Massaro confirms that she will not be at 'Mania in her most recent Myspace blog;

Another thing I'd like to touch on quickly is Wrestlemania. I know many of you are asking if i will be attending and participating in the 25 Diva Battle Royale and the answer unfortunately is .......no. I so so so wish I could be it's conflicting right now, there's nothing I'd rather do than come to mania but unfortunately it's just not possible. :o( sad face sad face sad face

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty glad she won't be there. She's too fresh in everyone's mind, WWE need to bring back some other Divas from the past! Like I said before...BRING LUNA BACK!

SO the lovely Lita has apparantly denied WWE's offer to appear at WrestleMania as she is going to Booker T's charity show instead... -cries-

Anyway, who else could WWE bring back for one night only to spice the match up? I KNOW! Lets THROW Luna Vachon into the match! Despite Luna being 47, the ORIGINAL psycho weirdo could definately teach some of these Divas a thing or two!

If the WWE wanted to make the fans barf and / or cringe get freaky, former three time Intercontinental Champ, CHYNA should make a spooky appearance, but this my friends is very doubtful as the head bitch, Stephanie hates her.

ANOTHER 47 year old, Lisa Moretti [better known as IVORY] was always full of character and hyperness and she would certainly bring a fun atmosphere to the huge Diva match!

One of the toughest bitches to ever grace a WWE ring -JAZZ- will most likely be unable to appear as she is pregnant. However, that doesn't stop WWE from bringing back one of their weirdest, most vicious Divas from the past....SHANIQUA! This biatch was never afraid to stand up to the men or crush her fellow Divas. If she were to appear, I could see a little Glamazon beating!

WWE could get DIRRRRTY by bringing back Ashley Massaro and Tori! But do we really wanna see their scary mugs again? NO. Kthxbye!

After being shockingly cut by the WWE in August 2008, the very talented Cherry could make one last appearance in the biz!

If I come up with any other Divas it'd be nice or not very nice to see again, I will definately be posting! :))

So as you all probably know by now WrestleMania 25 will host a 25 Diva Battle Royal featuring the WWE Divas from RAW, ECW, SmackDown! and WWE past! So if we take out Vickie Guerrero, Lilian Garcia, Stephanie McMahon and assume Rosa and Tiffany will take part in the match then we have eighteen Divas so far. [see below];

RAW; Beth, Candice, Jillian, Kelly, Layla, Melina, Mickie & Rosa
ECW; Alicia, Katie Lea & Tiffany
SD; Brie, Eve, Maria, Maryse, Michelle, Natalya & Nikki

Now despite all the rumours of all these random Divas making an appearance, here is who I would like to see fill up the final seven Diva slots.

Dawn Marie, Lita, Mae Young, Nidia, Torrie, Trish & Victoria

Wishful thinking? Maybe. Who would you like to see return for the special battle royal?!

OKAY! So, Marcella's Confessions was like WOAH with irate-ness, however, something has now PLUCKED my tail feathers. OH my yes. TRISH STRATUS would LIKE to be at WrestleMania. OKAY REALLY?! It was nice seeing you that once after your retirement, but GO away TRISH!

Now, I have read comments on various websites and most people would rather she didn't have a match at WrestleMania and OOPSIE, I agree. I mean sure have an appearance backstage, but SAVE the spotlight for the Divas of today! After last years dissapointing WrestleMania Divas match, I think Diva fans everywhere are hoping for two title matches this year; a WWE Women's and WWE Divas title matches!

I realise she's probably bored, sitting at home posting blogs all day, but SHE retired, if she didn't want to be out of the WWE, then she shouldn't of retired! Silly idiothole.
